Book Club đ
Paid subscribers get access to our monthly book club. Every month, we pick one cozy rom-com and read it togetherâloosely, casually, at whatever pace works for you.
The whole thing lives on Fable, an app made for exactly this: you can track your progress (or not), see what everyone else is reading, and drop into the chat thread whenever you have a thought, a theory, or a strong opinion about the love interest.
How It Works
One pick a month. Announced at the start of the month, usually chosen by poll, sometimes by editorial decree (thatâs me, your resident rom-com correspondent).
A running chat on Fable. Come talk about the book whenever the mood strikes. Thereâs no discussion schedule, no assigned chapters, no âwait, donât spoil itâ panic. Fable automatically creates threads for each chapter, so you never have to worry about spoiling or being spoiled.
Zero completion requirements. Read it in a weekend. Read half. Skim the last chapter first (I wonât tell). Lurking in the chat without opening the book is a valid and celebrated form of participation.
Who Itâs For
The book club is a paid-subscriber perk, and if a monthly rom-com with zero homework sounds like your kind of thing, consider this your open door.
Upgrading gets you into the club, plus everything else on the paid side of the curtain: the Well-Designed Life curriculum, the subscriber chat, and monthly journal prompts. No pressure, everâthe door stays open, and thereâs a new pick every month.
This is a book club in the âreading on the couch in your pajamasâ tradition, not the âprepare three discussion questionsâ one. The books are fun. The chat is low-stakes. The only rule is that dog-eared pages, abandoned mid-reads, and strong feelings about grand gestures are all welcome here.
