Nicely written. Books are the only friends who never say, "I told you so." You read The Little Prince at 15 and smile. You read it again decades later and quietly wonder how the fox understood life better than half the people in your contact list. The book didn't change. We did.

The nostalgia! Love this post. I love seeing Twilight on the list -- as "bad" as it may be, I'll always keep my youthful love for that saga close to my heart. And I'm so glad others like Beautiful World, Where Are You! That's the only book I've read of hers, and I will probably read more, but I think it's a lovely tale of friendship and community.

This made me consider reading that Emily Henry book, I have the same miscronception about romance books but I also LOVE romcoms. Guilty!

What a list. I loved Angus, Thongs, etc. (what a title!). Forgot about the hilarity of those books. The English do it better.
