What to Post in March (When You Have No Idea What to Post)
A month of done-for-you content designed for multi-passionate creatives.
If you’ve ever opened a content scheduling app, stared at a blank caption box, and thought I have no idea what to say – this one’s for you.
The newest resource library drop is a March content playbook for creative brands and service providers: strategic, fill-in-the-blank post prompts built specifically for freelancers, designers, coaches, copywriters, photographers, strategists, and anyone else who is trying to build a creative business.
Every prompt comes with an example from a real creative industry so you can see exactly how to make it your own – not a generic ‘share your story!’ suggestion, but an actual hook and imagery direction.
A new content playbook drops every month in the Resource Library – each one crafted with multi-passionate creatives in mind, and designed to help you share your story, personality, and offerings effortlessly. It’s included with every paid subscription, alongside everything else in the library, which is growing every month.
If you’ve been on the fence about upgrading, this is a good week to do it. Below is a taste of what’s inside.
How to Use This Content
These prompts are starting points, not scripts. Adapt them to your platform, your voice, and what feels true in this season of life and business. You don’t have to post every day – use this as a menu to pull from when you need direction.
Mix formats: Some prompts work as a single photo + caption. Others are best suited for a carousel, a Reel, or a series of Stories. Follow what feels right.
Lean into specificity: The more concrete and personal your content, the more it will resonate. Generic advice is everywhere. Your specific experience is not.
Batch when you can: Group similar categories and create a few posts in one sitting to reduce decision fatigue.
Weekly Content Cadence
A suggested posting schedule, but only do what you feel comfortable doing! Consistency without burnout is better than any optimized content schedule.
Feed Posts (Carousels): 3 per week
Reels: 1-2 per week
Stories: 3 per day (Mon-Fri minimum)
Strategic Content Goals
Each piece of content should map to one of these goals.
GROWTH: Grow your audience and attract new followers – shareable, discoverable, hook-driven.
CONVERSION: Convert followers to clients/customers – offers, social proof, objection handling.
AUTHORITY: Build authority & trust – expertise, point of view, behind-the-scenes.
CONNECTION: Nurture existing community — connection, personality, shared experience. This is where you share your lifestyle, POV, interests, etc. to connect with your audience on a personal level.
Without further ado, let’s get into the prompts!
Authority
Build authority & trust – share your expertise, point of view, behind-the-scenes content, etc.
“A [CLIENT/PEER] asked me [SPECIFIC QUESTION] and I had to think about it for a while.”
Example (Brand Designer): “A client asked me why I don’t offer logo-only packages. It took me a week to articulate the real answer.” Talking head walking through the genuine reasoning: logos without strategy are decoration, not identity. Ends with what that realization changed about pricing and structure.
Imagery Direction: Talking head video or a candid photo of you at work – nothing staged. The authenticity is the point.
“You don’t have a [PROBLEM SYMPTOM] problem. You have a [ROOT CAUSE] problem.”
Example (Brand Strategist): “You don’t have a visibility problem. You have a positioning problem.” Walk through 4 reasons ideal clients don’t convert: unclear niche, inconsistent visual voice, no differentiation from competitors, design/website attracting the wrong budget.
Imagery Direction: Graphic-only carousel – strong typography on a clean background. The cover slide does all the heavy lifting here.
