Love love love this. I feel the same way, the phone has GOT TO GO.
My mother-in-law is a basket weaver and I frequently get to weave with her. It’s one of the best feelings, using my hands to create something in the real world.
If you ever have an opportunity to learn to basketweave, do it!! It’s such a lovely craft (and who doesn’t love baskets?!) Plus, machines can’t do it the way humans can. One of my goals in life is to become good enough at this art that I can pass it on to my children once my mother-in-law is gone. They’ve woven baskets but we always need her guidance. One day I hope to be the guide!
These are so fun! A friend got me an origami book recently, and I'm excited to do some.
I love this! One of my new year goals is to learn calligraphy - so excited that one of my goals is to simply enjoy a new hobby!
