30 Whimsical Journal Prompts for June
Kick off summer with a dose of introspection.
Hello and happy summer! I know, I know, yadda yadda summer solstice, whatever – June 1st is the beginning of summer in my book.
I feel like so much journaling advice or prompts I see are so serious. And I think that journaling should be something you can have fun with too, as much as it is a tool for reflection and self-discovery. So for this summer, here are 30 prompts to get you thinking creativity and curiously about your life.
Use these as self-reflection, creative writing prompts, junk journal starter pages, or whatever else strikes your fancy!
Next time you’re in public, do some well-meaning eavesdropping and write a short story about whatever conversation catches your fancy.
If you were a light source, what would you be and why? A table lamp, a candle, a fancy chandelier?
Write a love letter to your favorite place on Earth. Could be the house you grew up in, a place you visited once on vacation, or somewhere you have yet to see.
