I will never see the bottom of my TBR stack...and I'm ok with that.

Such an incredible book list. I'm coming back for this one. Saving it 💜

Thanks for sharing! I'm also doing a creativity deep dive and this was a great round-up to complement what I already had on my list. I also liked The Accidental Creative and The Creative Curve.

Great list! I’ve added some to my “want to read” archive. Thanks, Lizzie! ❤️

Ooh this is so timely! I've been on the hunt for a book about writing that isn't filled with the standard "here's how to write dialogue" advice. Adding lots of these, but specifically Dear Writer and Sue Monk Kidd's new book, to my TBR.

Yay! Hope you love them!

I was on a hiatus from buying books (borrowing from the library instead) but I want to own some of these newer ones on your list. I’m participating in a writer’s retreat at the end of June and want to challenge myself to read them before that. Wish me luck.

I found the Rick Rubin book to be a bit overrated. It felt like a lot of musings that got old to me! But I early want to get into the Artists way because it sounds fascinating!

Yeah I can definitely see that. There is a lot of navel gazing in these types of books too lol.

I picked up “We Need Your Art” based on your rec, and it has reignited a fire within me to be creative again. Thank you so so much.

This list is incredible. Adding half of these to my cart immediately. Thank you for sharing this. There’s something magical about stepping away from screens and into books. It really does wake the brain back up

Cracking up because I literally feel the same way about the Artist's Way book cover. lol I had the audiobook version until they released the 2020 paperpack which is way more aesthetically pleasing and way less 80/90's self-help book looking!
